Texas Long Range Plan

When analyzing the Long-Range Plan it is clear tht technology is influential in our world. As an educator, it is important to prepare our students with the necessary skills to succeed in a world that tech saavy. We should implement technology in as many skills as possible. Right now we are in Phase I of the plan is setting the foundation for the future. It focuses on increasing funding, aligning curriculum, and providing equitable access to technology for all students. In phase II All educators will use technology in the classroom, leaders will provide support for innovative activities that maximize learning, and students will use tehnology to engage in real-world learning experiences. As a school Leader, I will understand the importance of techonolgyon my campus, and I will try my best to facilitate the use of technology by providing job embedded staff development. This will provide staff a connection from staff development to in class use. The Long-Range Plan in part will be measured by the use of the Star Chart. The star Chart analyzes the technology proficiency and the level of how technology is being used in the classroom. The Long Range plan is a excellent goal, that will produce students who will be prepared for the 21st century.
